The Foundation of Creation

His head, his shoulders, and his lucid breast,
Glisten with stars; and when his urn inclines,
Rivers of light brighten the watery track.

This is your month, O’ independent ones! Being the friendly and honest ones, you are the epitomes of gentle and patient ones.

Ixora - Ixora coccinea

Crape Jasmine - Tabernaemontana divaricata 'Flore Pleno'

O’ exuberant ones! You dream a lot, which of course leads to too many promises and plan for your future a lot.

Arabian Jasmine 'Belle of India' - Jasminum sambac var. 'Belle of India'

You symbolize the pitcher of water – the sheath within which the life energy dwells. It is over water – as a general inundation, that the creator reclines after the deluge (according to Hindu Myth) and hence it serves as the foundation of Creation. You ARE the water - the life!

Arabian Jasmine 'Grand Duke Of Tuscany' - Jasminum sambac var. 'Grand Duke Of Tuscany'

You work best in group projects provided you’re the leader of the team.

Rose - Rosa

Always offering a friendly hand, one always treasures your relationship.

Wingpod Purslane - Portulaca umbraticola

Aquarius – a pitcher with water flowing from it is related with the cosmic-life.

Chrysanthemum - Chrysanthemum indicum - Sevantikâ

It is predicted that you'll discover the ‘real you’ and your potential this year.

Bell Weed - Dipteracanthus prostratus

Since this year, your materialistic needs met fluctuating-ly, you need to be organized, which’d help you keep this year smooth.

Ixora - Ixora coccinea

By the end of this year, you'll be ready to take things in life to next level, so good luck!

Rose - Rosa

Your balcony must smell heavenly with all those jasmine plants! I love the way you intertwine stories with your plants.

Thank you, Linda :) I guess you should go on a trip again to revel in the pleasant warmth of Thailand.

Oh yes, Tina! With every day it's becoming colorful despite my neglect - poor ones.

Thank you, Rose. The part of my terrace which makes this Plantville for past few days smells of the sweet fragrance of Red Rose and I love it, though the Jasmine has quite a few buds, it doesn't bloom in bunches to give out a palatable fragrance yet - may be it requires some months to grow to that level. I've always loved stories - listening to them and making up from my childhood, and this blog serves as a perfect outlet for me.

Thank you Michelle, but that's all my mothers' care. Will you believe me if I told you that's it's been a month since I've given them the flower food. Since my mother's too busy, she couldn't manage to do all that and it's because of her daily watering that they're living! Thank you :)

Thank you, Kanak. The shot was taken carelessly, but I myself was amazed when I transferred it to my hard disk and realized how nice it looked!

Glad you liked it, Randy :) I was touched by your story and I wish really wish I could send over something to my friend. Do really customs not let through Plant seeds? No matter even if it is a normal variety - something non-toxic or legal?

Chandramouli,
I'm not sure what the laws are... Don't you worry about us, we are doing just fine now. :-) Even better than before. I know Australia will not let anything in but you can send out.--Randy

Your Aquarius post reminds me a lot of my brother in law who is an Aquarius! Your rose macro is very pretty!

You have such lovely flowers growing, especially the rose! I can't wait till my flower season comes once more. The first to arrive at my house will be daffodils, but that won't be for two months! I need to plant some early bulbs next fall, so I don't have to wait so long.

Your blog photos and words transport me from my part of the world to yours and it's so beautiful & fragrant there! You have a gift with flowers and with words! Your blog is a feast for the senses.

I noticed my Gardenia bush beginning to bud today next to my wild Willow ladies. The Gardenia is only one year old and I'm just happy it survived the winter. It's the most fragrant flower I have next to my Moonflowers, which are annuals and a member of the Morning Glory family. I have those seeds sprouting in soil-filled egg cartons in my front window.

I saw one of my strawberries blooming, too! Today was a magnificent day, filled with discoveries, with enough blue sky to swim in....oceans of sky with not one cloud!!!

I have a pink Azalea bush blooming and one yellow Daffodil. I saw my first pretty orange butterfly today, too!! Spring is near....and I have Spring Fever!

Thank you for your uplifting blog! You make me want to run outside and play in the dirt! LOL!

Oh that's nice to hear, Catherine. Hope I didn't say anything that doesn't fit an 'Aquarian's' nature. Thank you :)

Oh yea, the rose is going crazy and I'm glad it is, Robin. Ah, love daffodils - especially the yellow vibrant ones! I'll be waiting for your photos this spring.

Hi Marion, so many kind words! thank you. Well, I'm glad you liked it :)
Wow, Gardenia? Isn't that the shrub with white, fragrant blooms! Strawberries too! I have the seeds, which I am yet to sow. I certainly see that the Spring's coming, with the daffs and azaleas! Good luck.
LOL! You should do it. A perfect symptom of the fever and the medication is to go soil yourselves.

Thank you, Racquel :) Well, I should be thankful that my plants remain alive even through the winter as it doesn't snow here. Oops! I said it! Touchwood... touch wood.... where's the wood....
