Thank you, everyone :)

Hello, Everyone! I should first of all thank you all for all the support, wishes, and regards that you showered on me. I was again out on a trip with my family and my Brother-in-law to a place called Sringeri – which is a beautiful mountainous town and one of the four sacred institutions that was established by Adi Shankara many centuries ago, to promote the growth of the Eternal Virtue (of Hinduism).

All my worries that I ranted on about seems silly now. Now I feel that I have gained a new relationship with another beautiful family.

It was a great trip and it being a mountain, I went crazy with my camera, clicking every flower and tree that I laid my eyes on. Again, I have plans of going to yet another trip next week for three days around few more temples in cities around Chennai (the City I live in).

But before that, I’ll post the photos that I shot during my recent trip here. Yes, my plants suffered again while we were gone. One of the Gaillardias gave up [stifling a sob], but others just wilted and are now a lot better now. See you all later in my next post. Thank you once again for all your support! You guys are great!

I'm glad to be back here too. I see I have lots of posts to catch up to... Wait until you see the other pictures, Tina. Of course they don't do justice to the actual vista itself, but I tried my best.

So glad to see you back!! Isn't it amazing how being away and traveling to new places gives us a fresh, new perspective on things?

My younger daughter lives in the Appalachian mountains in Chattanooga, Tennessee and visiting her is like entering another world as where I live is totally flat. There's a mystical otherness about the mountains and the valleys that I love. I can't wait to see your photos!! Blessings to you and your family.

It does, Marion. It has changed a lots of perspectives of mine and I feel a lot fresh now.

I see you totally can relate to how I felt being in mountains, as I too am from a place that's so totally F-L-A-T! I love it so. Thank you :)

Chandramouli, welcome back! It's wonderful that you are enjoying the new additions to your family. I thought it might turn out to be that way. The mountains are beautiful. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your photos.

It's wonderful to have family, which I think is the most important thing in the whole world...ones' family, and extended family :)

I like the sound of 'promoting the Eternal Virtue'...sounds very much like going on a spiritual journey....and that's what our path through life should be about :)

Thank you, Michelle, I hope to publish the post before tomorrow, but the lethargic dud that I am, I can't promise :D

It definitely is great, WG :) Yes, the place surely spreads the Virtue and I'm glad I visited the place after twenty years!

Thank you Catherine. AS I said, I'll try to post it sooner.
