Macro Monday

I recently discovered the beauty of my camera when my sis taught me of the Macro functionality in it. I never knew I could do wonders with it! Damn! Shouldn't I have been inquisitive enough to explore all the features of the camera. We younger generations have really gone slackers!
Anyways I decided to post a Macro Monday Post every Monday to show you my creativity (if you could call it that). So here's the first one in the series...

Those look good. You will need to start thinking about side lighting next. Every time I get macro close my camera gets in the way of the light. If you figure it out let me know. Bob

Thank you :). Ermm... Side Lighting? I need to first study what it is :D. I'm a dumbo in that.

Hi Chandramouli...I love your macro photos. I have a nice camera myself, one which my husband bought me last year for my birthday. Can you believe I still haven't read the instruction manuel? I am quite lazy that way:) I know nothing at all about macro, or how you put color in the black and white photo. I don't think my picture project editing program does that--although I'm probably wrong;) Take care!

Thanks for stopping by Gisele and for your nice comment.

Hi Jan, Thank you :). Mine is not a hi-fi camera. Just the basic Canon IXUS 75. I'm sure yours has the Macro mode. For the color swap, look for an option 'Color Swap' and you can make it focus on the shade of a single color and make the rest grey. Try it. You'd go crazy once you discover it. Good luck!
