Weekly Macro

Finally, the Lilium Unknownus has been identified. Though I was expecting it to be some exotic lily variety, it turned out to be Amaryllis Lily! Well, I'm not disappointed at all. After seeing so many cultivars of Amaryllis Lily over at Jan's Always Growing, I've started falling in love with it too.
I guess this is the Amaryllis Lily 'Solomon', because of its lime-green center, but there aren't any red dots in the center as the description of the Solomon cultivar suggested. Well, I leave it to the experts to decide... It's time to sink into its beauty!

I simply love these for their peaceful colour. I remember we used to have them in our garden too. Now there is no garden.... So am extremely happy to see them here.

Thank you. So true, Tyra. I've learnt so much after started blogging, which'd have taken me years if I hadn't.

Have a great weekend! Good luck with your seedlings.

Raji Muthukrishnan: Thank you ma'am. Isn't the color so refreshing?! I love that lime green center in this and the yellow pollen. BTW, you don't have a garden coz of space or time? Just curious...

You're so true, Randy (/Jamie)! I fell in love with it sooo after so seeing different cultivars over at Jan's. Thank you :)

It feels soft too, Catherine. Softer than the other darker Amaryllis I have.

Isn't it? Oh Amaryllis Lilies are sooooo gorgeous! Thank you, Phillip.

I love this color too, Tina. They are, aren't they? Every week I find something new in my budgies. No matter what toy I keep in the cage, they come up with a brilliant way to use it, like one of my budgies uses a bottle cap to do somersault! It's so funny to watch it doing that...

Morning Glories in Round Rock : Thank you :) Glad you liked it!
