Finally! I've started blogging. I just now finished watching the tamil movie 'Mozhi', which touched me like very few movies that I watched before. I don't want to degrade this movie by comparing it with others as it's a unique one. It's a movie that doesn't have unneccessary scenes and impractical stunts. It was as if reading a novel! I thought no one can direct a movie that'd make you feel as if you were reading a novel, but this director proved me wrong. After a long time, I was content that I'd watch a real 'movie'. Wow! It was so touching and so funny too. Especially the few scenes like Jothika trying to listen to the music from the watch that the hero gifted her and a few seconds' scene in the 'Mozhi' song, where the trio (hero, Prakash Raj and Swarnamalya) dance on the zebra crossing. I was speechless when I saw those scenes. My mom stepped in and asked why're you laughing suddenly! That coming from my mom to me is really rare. I rarely laugh while watching movies. The comedies that you all see and enjoy in the daily movies fails to impress me. I kow, I know. I'm such a dork, but I can't help it. But this movie brought that rarity out of me. Damn! I wanted to say man more about this movie, but words fail me... Hats off to the director, actors, technicians and oh! to the music director and the guy who sang the Mozhi song. I could see the goosebumps in my hands when I listened to it. The first time, I heard that song (long back) it stood out. I know I'm too late to review this movie, but hey! I didn't miss it right? Those who haven't watched it yet.... run, buy the movie and be entertained.
Namaste for now...
